The announcement follows the successful completion of the rigorous application process to ensure that Ábaco met the standards for entering this coveted program.The 8(a)Business Development program certification has a nine-year lifespan and allows participants to compete for set-aside and sole-sourced federal contracts.The 8(a) Business Development program also provides assistance from the SBA in navigating federal contracting, guidance in forming joint ventures, and management assistance (including business training, counseling, marketing assistance and high-level executive development).“We are excited about this accomplishment and look forward to the opportunity to build new partnerships and expand our operations with the Federal Government.This certification provides access to resources and support to expand our business while continuing to deliver the high quality services and support to our customers that Ábaco has become known for” says Estefania Arregui-Gomez, Ábaco’s President and CEO.
