As an Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting annual security assessments of FISMA reportable systems in support of their on-going authorization.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Administrative Project Manager/Supervisor (US Government)

Job Description

Abaco Strategy, LLC seeks a Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor to be located in Kansas City, MO and work as part of a team that deliver the variety of administrative and professional support classifications at various locations in the Heartland Region. The Heartland Region consists of four states; Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. The services to be provided by this contract shall be accomplished at various locations throughout the Heartland Region, with the majority of contract performance at: Two Pershing Square 2300 Main Street Kansas City, Missouri, 64108. The General Services Administration is a federal agency whose Heartland Region is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri at Two Pershing Square, 2300 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri, 64108. The Heartland Region consists of four states; Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas.

In order to have an effective program all team members must ensure a successful business relationship between The Fed. Govt. Client of Contractors.  All parties involved in the service delivery process must work as a team and foster open and honest communication at all times.  Working side-by-side with other federal employees and contract workers, your role will be non-inherently governmental in nature.

The selected Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor shall be paid a Base $/Hr. as a Contract W-2 Employee as well as an allocation of an additional state specific $/Hr. to cover health and welfare expenses under The U.S. Department of Labor McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage and Hour Determination (WHD).

In general, Abaco employees are expected to work the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., which includes a 30-minute lunch. These hours may be flexible with coordination of the Government Client Point of Contact. Government Client’s core hours are 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m., meaning during these hours employees fulfilling roles and responsibilities required of Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor must be in attendance.

Close coordination and active cooperation on a continuous basis between The Abaco Engagement Team and those representing the client are necessary to ensure a healthy working environment.  Days of operation are Monday through Friday. Work schedule shall follow standard State and Federal holiday schedules.  Some positions under this contract may be eligible for telework.  However, when the Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor employee is teleworking, they shall be fully accessible as if they are working in an office setting.

 

Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor – Kansas City, MO Duties

The Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor shall provide full time on-site/off-site supervision of all contractor resources to assure conformance with the contract requirements.  The Project Manager shall be on site at the GSA Region 6 PBS Headquarters location at all times when the contract work is in progress.

The Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor shall provide all management and supervision as an overhead function and will be required to travel to all locations where Abaco employees are located at a minimum of twice (2x) a year. These trips will not be paid for by the Government. They shall be included in the Abaco ’s overhead. Additionally, since the Project Manager is considered overhead, Government Owned Vehicles may not be used by the Project Manager.

 

Other responsibilities of Project Manager(s):

  • Furthermore, the Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor shall carry a mobile device during working hours to be reached when needed, and must be available within 2 hours of contact after normal business hours.
  • The Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor must work a minimum of eight (8) hours per day and these eight (8) hours must be between 7:00 am CST and 5:00 pm CST.
  • The Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor shall not telework more than (one) 1 day every two (2) weeks unless approved in writing by the CO and/or COR.

 

Supervision of Abaco ’s Employees

Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor shall support project contract administration and monitoring will not be detailed or continual as to constitute supervision of Abaco Engagement Team personnel.  The Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor will be responsible for interviewing, appraising individual performance, scheduling leave or work, or providing direction on how to perform work for contract employees.

The contract personnel assigned to render services shall at all times be employees of the Abaco Engagement Team and under the direction and control of the Contractor.  Notwithstanding any other provisions of this contract, The Abaco Engagement Team shall at all times be responsible for the supervision of its employees in the performance of the services required.  At no time shall The Abaco Engagement Team personnel be considered employees of the United States Government.

The Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor shall supervise Engagement Team Timesheets and Timekeeping in accordance with appropriate Government surveillance of contractor performance to give reasonable assurance that efficient methods and effective cost controls are being used.

Some positions under this contract may be eligible for teleworking.  Permission for an employee to telework can only be granted by the Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor.  The Abaco Contractor Project Manager/Supervisor is responsible for coordinating with Government Clients and Stakeholders as to whether the particular position may be eligible for teleworking.  Permission to telework shall only be granted if the teleworking arrangement does not prohibit any normal work activity or services provided to the Government.

Abaco Strategy is looking for a passionate Telecom Designer to upgrade, support and review a communication network.

Tasks:
– The BICSI RCDD (Telecom Designer) will be on site during any site surveys.
– The upgraded infrastructure will be reviewed by a BICSI RCDD for adherence to standards.
– Random checks by the RCDD of all aspects of infrastructure Upgrade will be performed on a recurring basis during the entire Upgrade process.
– During the final inspection the BICSI RCDD will develop a punch list of items which need correction in order to accomplish certification.
– The BICSI RCDD will conduct a Final walk-through with the customer representative for acceptance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abaco is seeking a Functional Lead who, under general direction, serves as senior subject matter expert associated with procure to pay processes and expense management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Provides subject matter expertise in applications including Accounts Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement, iExpense, iSupplier, Advanced Procurement and Sourcing.

– Understands the integration of these modules with financial, projects/grants and supply chain modules.

– Able to set up, configure, and, if necessary, design functional extensions to the COTS application to meet the desired business process and requirements.

– Configures ERP modules to meet Airports Authority business needs across the Procure-to-Pay modules.

– Documents the detailed requirements, analyzes the business needs, configures the application, and validates solutions with the business owners.

– Provides functional support to development team members.

– Resolves trouble tickets from end users, develops training materials, and delivers formal and informal end-user training on an as needed basis.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

– Experience in Procure-to-Pay Application implementations and/or upgrades.

– Proficient with Oracle EBS R12 PO, AP, ICX, OIE, and POS applications and their associated table structures, database and report writing tools, and ERP Application Administration and Security.

– Familiarity with associated business functions including encumbrance accounting preferred.

– Accustomed to working in a disciplined system development life cycle (SDLC) environment.

– Strong verbal and written communication skills.

– Ability to elicit and document requirements, provide day to day support of the business users and support month-end close..
