Estefania “Fani” Arregui-Gomez co-founded Ábaco in 2014, along with her friend and chosen family Dr. Dan Navarro. At the inception of the company, Fani’s focus was on building a mature company infrastructure (systems, tools, processes, past performance, contract vehicles) to enable the growth of the company. Fani led the effort to define and socialize Abaco’s values, mission, vision, growth strategy, and corporate culture based on the core values of inclusion, people first mentality, integrity, ingenuity, and purposeful legacy. Today, Fani sets the strategic direction for the Company’s growth strategy. Fani’s passion is to leverage Abaco’s successes as a conduit to help women enter or re-enter the workforce, providing opportunities for growth and success in a safe, inclusive work environment that capitalizes on the strengths of its diverse workforce. Born in El Paso, TX, Fani grew up in Madrid, Spain, and returned to the United States, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and Information Systems from the George Mason University, as well as degrees in Systems Analysis, Computer Programming, and IT Support. When not working, Fani enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and cooking.
Dr. Dan Navarro is Abaco Strategy’s co-founder and Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for the daily operations of the company. He drives operational performance and leads the agile evolution of the company’s business model, in collaboration with leaders from across the company and industry. Prior to founding Abaco, Dan had 30+ years of transformational leadership experience performing as Vice-President and Director in consulting, program management, and service delivery organizations around the globe. Expert at building strong client partnerships, he is recognized for driving complex organizational initiatives, and providing strategic technology advice to clients. Dan is originally from Mexico. He holds a doctorate degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies from the George Washington University, a Master’s in Business Administration from ITESM, and a B.A.S. in Information Systems from UNIVA (Universidad Catolica de Mexico). He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
Kathy Danner is responsible for developing and executing strategies to accelerate the company's expansion and market presence. Drawing on her extensive background in government contracting, Information Technology (IT) and strategic growth, she works closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and develop initiatives to capitalize on them. Previously Kathy held Sr. VP roles at organizations where she spearheaded successful operations delivery and growth initiatives, driving revenue and customer engagement. Kathy is known for her ability to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, empowering teams to achieve ambitious goals. Kathy holds Public Administration and Political Science degrees from Virginia Tech. She is committed to staying abreast of the latest trends and developments in the IT industry, continuously seeking opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally. Kathy enjoys spending time with family and traveling and looks at each adventure as an opportunity to connect with diverse cultures and create lasting memories.

Dr. Mahdieh Gholampoor was Abaco’s first employee. Starting as a Business Analyst, Dr. Gholampoor embraced challenges, earned accolades for analytical competence and always fostered collaboration. Her passion for organizational coaching and development proved pivotal in guiding her strategic acumen growth and leadership finesse. Evolving through working with remarkable coworkers in Abaco, she ascended to Project Manage, Program Management and Director, embodying Abaco's philosophy of growth and excellence. For Mahdieh, working at Abaco feels like spending her everyday with friends, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and productivity.
